An incredible selfless HERO!
Georgia Deacon from Diss Aged just 22 Has suffered from poor mental health since she was 14 after her Grandad passed away. She suffers from extreme anxiety often connected with personal health and fear of illness and death.
She Works as a Nursery nurse and to the outside world she is a wonderfully warm, friendly and mature young lady. Since before Christmas she has been really struggling to cope, but with the love of her family and support from GP and specialists, she is making progress.
Now in this CV19 crisis, all her fears are realised and she has real concerns her mental health will falter. So she took on the ‘Couch to 5k’ 9week training to stay active and help her well being.
Earlier in the year when Georgia was at her worst, she and mum Terrie kept a tin – and for every positive action, coins were placed in the tin as a reward to save for something special.
When I spoke to Georgia about the work being done by Colin Breckons and the team at Frontline Face shields, without hesitation she gave me the tin and asked me to donate all the money. What an incredibly selfless act! To give away the object that represents your personal successes and your good days. Georgia is a real hero
